Lincoln Kirstein (1907 - 1996) was co-founder of the NYC Ballet. He was a writer, impresario, art connoisseur, philanthropist, and cultural figure. The Collage features a cut out zipper attached to a tag with a Rolling Stones Stamp and a clipping of the famous Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers ”zipper” album cover.
