Description:
Per Robert Skinner Appraisal, 1991 (on file) Charcoal/ purple paper. sgnd LR in charcoal: ”Lichtenstein” (& verso on matt: ”Killing the Buffalo / Lichtenstein”, linear-cubistic style of animal (buffalo) R foregrnd w/ line details of a drawn bow & arrow, w/ another animal’s head (horse) top RC, w/ triangular head/face at top w/ war paint & feathers at top C, & horse’s hind legs & horse & indian mostly obscured by a squared area behind the foregrnd animal (buffalo). Forms suggestive of Picasso’s ”Guernica”. 
(paper is crudely taped w/ ten pieces of masking tape to awkwardly cut and much worn matt producing slight wrinkle UL and little tape bleed-through UR)
